The 21^st edition of Fiumanka took place in the gulf in front of Rijeka, Croatia. The largest Croatian sailing event was attended by 111 yachts. The Way of Life yacht, led by Olympian Gašper Vinčec, defended last year’s victory and needed 1 hour and 14 minutes for a shortened course due to lack of wind. The second and third places were taken by the Croatian yachts Molo longo and Damaco. After the victory, Gašper Vinčec, in the role of helmsman, praised the coordination of the multinational crew, which did its job without mistakes in a modest winds of up to 6 knots. After Fiumanka, the EWOL Sailing Team will practice for races in Italy (the famous Barcolana in Trieste and the sailing spectacle in Venice), and most probably, the crew will also attend Bernetti Cup, which is considered a general rehearsal before Barcolana.
