The jubilee 30th edition of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup will host more than 50 superb yachts, divided into 4 main classes and 6 sub-classes based on their technical and performance characteristics. The event, which opens an intense September of racing in the beautiful waters of Sardinia (Italy), is organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in collaboration with International Maxi Association and Rolex. Racing will begin on Monday (2 September) with the first start scheduled for noon, and will conclude on Saturday (7 September). Thursday (5 September) is set aside as a lay day or for recovery of any cancelled races. Among the other events, the IMA Annual General Meeting, Owners’ Dinner, and the Crew Party will be particularly noteworthy.

In its Maxi Worlds debut, the EWOL Sailing Team set ambitious goals for itself, yet stays highly realistic in its expectations. Namely, Way of Life (Maxi Racer class), helmed by her owner Gašper Vinčec, will compete against some of the best maxi racers in the world, such as Rambler, Leopard, and Highland Fling XI.
