After sailing 100 nautical miles in the “La Cinquecento” regatta, the EWOL Sailing Team decided to withdraw from the race. “Over the night we have been struggling to keep the yacht moving due to lack of wind. We have been trying really hard fully in the racing mode and gained significant advantage over the other yachts, but the weather forecast for the upcoming days was extremely bad, no winds at all. Having that in mind, together with the crew we have decided to withdraw from the race and will try to break the course record when Eol allows us to do so. It’s nature, it’s sailing, it’s life at the end,” explained Gašper Vinčec, owner & skipper of the Way of Life yacht.
